SEO Device Project

Project Summary:

My device page was a Milwaukee Cordless Vacuum 0880-20. My device page not only provides multiple instruction manuals but also explains the background and technical specifications to ensure the user understands the device and how to utilize it cautiously and safely in its operation without hazard. A device page is necessary and provides the user with more information in one single window. The user does not have to spend hours gathering information from separate sources if all the information you may need for this device is included on the device page. It is a helpful and useful source to have for novice and expert users of the device.

How the project was created:

First, I had to gather as much information as I could find about the device to understand the device myself. Once I learned to research the device, I began conveying the information in an easy-to-read format for all users as well as organizing it in a more comprehensible fashion. I learned that not all information can be found in one place unless a device page is created. Scouring the internet is not an easy task. I also learned how to revise my drafts in clearer and more concise language so the reader can see precisely what the function of the device is. In my SEO writing project, I created a search summary and progress report to plan.

Fast Fix Project

Project Summary:

The project required an understanding of research and writing skills. To research, I had to search for various sources of information to compile it into a working guide with consistency and no gaps in information. My repair guide is a well-documented guide showing how to replace the Valenti taillight of a 2014 Subaru BRZ. It is useful for mechanics, car enthusiasts, or even average owners looking for a cheaper alternative to overpriced mechanics. There is no repair information relating to this guide including the Subaru Website. So, this will help many users around the world do this repair without damage or hazard.

How the project was created:

I started this project off by learning about the repair and ensuring that my knowledge of the repair item is up to date. I learned how to take cautious measures to perform the repair effortlessly without danger. I did a rough draft of the Fast Fix repair guide with some pictures included. Then revised what is incorrect or misleading in the repair guide. I took better pictures and specified my steps with more precision and better wording. This led to less confusion and increased readability. I made sure to use the correct tools and showed the user how to wrench a nut with a socket wrench. Finally, I had color-coordinated markup to emphasize certain high-focus areas required for the steps. Overall, I learned what makes good and bad photos, the correct language to use, how to structure information as well as how to create color-coordinated steps that show and explain in detail.

E-portfolio

Summary:

This is a project introducing who I am and what I have accomplished. It shows my accolades through the pieces of coursework I have created. It explains what I am capable of and what I can bring to a professional environment. By reflecting on all the projects done and skills learned I can now apply them to future writings. It requires creative use of web design tools. Knowledge design etiquette are strongly recommended.

How the project was done:

I had to research templates in Wix.com and select one that represents a portfolio design. Then I had to gather and compile information from the past projects into sections with added headings. I drafted the wording and color choices. I made clickable links to direct traffic easily. I added a few more things like a contact and resume area. The main goal and focus was to show and explain what was done throughout the course and why each project is not only important but useful to others.
